About the team
Our Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) are an even smarter and easier way to fulfil online orders and deliver the smiles for our customers. And you could get involved. Your role, no matter where you are at a CFC, will have a direct contribution to every customer's order. How good is that. At the forefront of driving innovation, you’ll be part of redefining the customer experience in online grocery shopping. The first of their kind in Australia, our CFCs help provide customers with improved availability and freshness, a broader produce range and a seamless digital experience.
About the role
You will be responsible for leading and managing the successful operations of the Bakery production room within the Customer Fulfilment Centre.
You will also have:
- Experience managing a production facility and/or factory operation including managing trade qualified bakers
- Understanding of quality control and production schedules involved in the production of cut produce products
- Experience in scheduling, production and load planning
- Ability to drive and manage metrics
- Automotive plant experience preferable.
About you and your skills
We’re looking for an experienced Bakery professional ideally who has a track record in a developing environment with the ability to set up process.
You will also have:
- A High School Diploma (eg. HSC/VCE) or equivalent
- Tertiary qualifications in food science, hospitality or business/management preferred but not essential
- Trade qualifications in baking and/or Cert V preferred but not essential OR the work experience equivalent
- Strong people leadership capabilities
- The ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence a wide range of team members and site leadership stakeholders
- Ability to use key financial data and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and outcomes
- Ability to execute a strategic vision
- Strong and effective communication style that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
