Property looks after one of Australia's most dynamic portfolios. Coles Group has over 2,500 retail locations around Australia—and we're growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all things property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

 

 


About the role

 

Are you ready for a rewarding opportunity to drive growth and make a significant impact in the retail leasing landscape? Look no further! Due to an internal promotion, we are thrilled to announce a newly created position within our cohesive and supportive leasing team in WA. 

 

You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering property outcomes that drive growth through the acquisition of new space and the management of our existing store network across WA, SA, and the NT.


 
Day-to-day you’ll: 


•    Identify opportunities to negotiate and secure new and replacement stores
•    Develop property strategies for the existing network 
•    Help deliver new stores, acquisitions, lease renewals and store extensions
•    Liaise and negotiate with landlords to secure favourable outcomes associated with landlord works and complex tenure arrangements
•    Prepare board reports for approval, presentations & meeting materials


 

About you and your skills

 

With 3-5 years of commercial property leasing experience, you’re a brilliant communicator and negotiator. You bring sound knowledge of lease contracts, including financial and legal aspects.


 
You’ll also have:  

 

•    End-to-end leasing experience, ideally with retailer-side exposure
•    Outstanding relationship building and stakeholder management skills
•    Strong attention to detail 
•    Flexibility to travel to South Australia and the Northern Territory periodically.
