Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. With an extensive footprint of over 1,800 retail outlets nationally, we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations, and we work together with our business units on all thing’s property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

 

 

About the role 

 

  

Reporting to the State Construction Manager - WA, SA & NT, this is a diverse role where you'll project manage the ‘end to end’ delivery of renewal and new store developments throughout SA & NT across the Coles Group portfolio. You’ll be empowered to manage the entire project lifecycle across resource allocation, project planning, governance, quality control, cost management, and safety.

You'll also 

 

  

  • Lead the coordination of the critical path of the project life cycle 
  • Coordinate inputs of internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors  
  • Ensure activities are scheduled to minimise disruption to customers and store teams 
  • Lead your project team to the end goal in a customer friendly manner 
  • Oversee cost plans, design documentation and tendering 
  • Drive improvements around project parameters e.g. time, cost, quality.  

 

 

  
About you and your skills 

 

 
  
An excellent communicator and influencer, you are collaborative, pro-active, and very comfortable being autonomous.  

 

Ideally degree qualified in construction management/building/architecture you demonstrate experience working on medium & large-scale retail or commercial projects and come from an on-site/ retailer/ project management consultancy background.  

 


  

 
You'll also have 

  

 


•    Experience managing contractors/consultants/site supervisors/suppliers  
•    A working knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards and how they are applied  
•    Sound financial acumen and cost management skills 
•    Strong organisational and planning ability.
