About the team

 

We’re launching two automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) in Melbourne and Sydney. The new CFCs will redefine the customer experience in online grocery shopping, providing customers with improved availability and freshness, a broader produce range and a seamless digital experience, while also providing a safer working environment for our team members. As our Melbourne site ramps up, we have an opportunity for an experienced Resource Planner to join the team. 


About the role 

 
You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of resource planning processes within either a CFC or Spoke operation.  This role will also be responsible for completing and managing the required inputs and outputs, using the resource planning tool ensuring that all activities necessary for the Customer Fulfilment Centre or Spoke resources are effectively forecasted, planned and rostered accordingly. 

 

You will also:

 

  • Provide fact-based analysis of resource planning performance and modify data attributes in the resource planning tool
  • Complete demand and recruitment forecasts for each CFC or Spoke business unit/zone, and support governance mechanisms
  • Build the Day/Week/Month Team rosters that ensure the CX is met and the CFC performs as per business strategy

 

 

About you and your skills

 


We’re looking for an experienced Resource Planner with a passion for developing processes.

 

You will also need: 
  

  • Experience in labour scheduling
  • Experience in using Kronos Asset Management solution
  • Proven commercial acumen is essential
  • Strong background in operations of a large site operation 
  • Experience working with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) and awards is advantageous 
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to identify & drive continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Track record in reporting commercials and scheduling in a fast-moving environment is essential
  • Experience working with various Labour Planning tools 
  • Experience working with a team where they consult and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders
