Inventory Team Member - Truganina Customer Fulfilment Centre

About the role

As an Inventory team Member, you’ll be an integral part of our operations, responsible for various tasks within inventory management, pick support and inbound office. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Inventory Team Manager, ensuring the smooth flow of products, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.  

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Inventory Management:

  • Perform tasks at dedicated inventory management stations
  • Manage product recall, withdrawal, stock purging, quality checks and customer returns

 

Pick Support:

  • Plan, set, and monitor through put targets to ensure goals are met
  • Ensure on-time dispatch and fulfilment of customer orders
  • Monitor and resolve any issues affecting dispatch efficiency

 

Inbound Office:

  • Manage trailer and PO (purchase order) management
  • Handle late deliveries and ensure vehicle turnaround time is in line with plan
  • Monitor and manage temperature data for inbound deliveries and pallet movement
  • Undertake general administrative duties related to inbound operations


About you and your skills 

  • Demonstrate a focus on safety, customer service and continuous improvement
  • Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
