In partnership with Ocado we are in the process of delivering a brand new state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in VIC. Harnessing the latest technology this site will offer a wider range to our customers and safter, cleaner environment for our staff. We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to be part of this new site.  Note that this is a site based role in Truganina 

 

About the Role 
 

This role will be a trusted business partner with the Head of Customer Fulfilment Centre (VIC) and lead all aspects of the Finance, Accounting and Commercial functions for the VIC site which includes reporting, budgeting and analysis in an accurate, timely manner that meet the needs / drives the performance of the business.You will also;  

 

  • Provide leadership support, direction and technical expertise to VIC CFC Team Members in all aspects of commercial management and provide insights and recommendation for ongoing improvements.
  • Work closely with the broader finance community to lead the development of common best practice processes and standardised ways of working.
  • Foster and maintain a work environment conducive to operational excellence and continuous improvement, employee engagement and the highest levels of safe working practices.

 

About You and Your Skills 
 

We are looking for a naturally curious and engaging finance business partner. You will have experience of site based commercial roles with the ability to partner effectively with site operations leaders. You will also have experience in;

 

  • Commercial management experience either in a logistics, automated distribution facility or manufacturing environment.
  • Finance experience in a retail environment desirable but not essential.
  • Varied finance background covering financial control, financial reporting, planning & analysis and business partnering.
  • influencing to improve the strategic direction and performance of the business.
  • driving organisational change, influencing key business partners and driving business change.
  • analysing data to develop meaningful commercial insights.
  • partnering key business stakeholders to challenge & agitate.
