About the Role

 

Reporting into the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for the technology components and architecture that support QuiteLike as it moves from foundation into its growth phase. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role and make it your own. This role can be supported from Sydney or Melbourne and will require close collaboration with external partners, business leaders, and technology senior leadership to develop strategies that enable QuiteLike’s expansion.

 

You’ll also:

 

  • Define, manage, and govern the foundation of the engineering practice, including vision, strategy, roadmap, architectural principles, standards, and tools.
  • Be accountable for engineering practices that support a variety of technology and digital programs.
  • Establish, manage, and develop strategic partnerships with external vendors.
  • Drive consistency in engineering execution and quality assurance, supporting agile ways of working.
  • Provide technology thought leadership and guidance to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

 

About You and Your Skills

 

In this new role, you will have the opportunity to plan, partner with external providers, and collaborate directly with senior business leaders. This position requires a hands-on approach, managing multiple aspects of technology while leveraging your proven digital and engineering expertise. With significant exposure to senior stakeholders, you will benefit from your strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

 

 

You will also have:

 

  • Proven experience in software development, engineering delivery, and solution architecture across digital and technology platforms.
  • A solid understanding of agile/scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Experience in budget management, including department and project budgets, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
