About the role

With iconic brands such as Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars to our name, our Liquor team is well on its way to being Australia’s favourite drinks retailer. We serve up everything from premium wines and craft beers to spirits from local distilleries. We’re also growing every day, so it’s an exciting time to join us.

 

As an Online Team Member at our Coles Liquor Online Fulfilment Centre, you’ll play an important role in the end-to-end fulfilment of online liquor orders to customers. Your focus will comprise of picking and packing customer orders, inbound and outbound logistics, accurate warehousing and maintaining of stock inventory and loading/unloading trucks.

 

You’ll take pride in contributing to a customer experience that’s welcoming and inspiring for our customers, team members and community through our online distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity to take your retail and/or warehousing experience to the next level.

 

About you and your skills

 

  • An eye for detail, consistency, and accuracy
  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace
  • Attention to detail, making sure that our customer orders and picked and packed correctly, ready for delivery
  • While experience in a similar role in a retail store or warehouse is good, in the end it will be your personality and passion that will set you apart
  • The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and will be able to carry out moderate to heavy lifting up to 17kg – picking, packing and replenishing stock
  • The ability to follow instructions, safe work practices, order fulfilment processes and stock management policies
  • Forklift license desirable
  • An accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain
  • You may be required to undergo a Police Check if successful in the recruitment process, a cost that you’ll be responsible for upfront but will be reimbursed upon successful placement
  • A current accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification

Please note that an accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a legal requirement for employment selling liquor in Australia. (In some states this accredited RSA may be State-specific and not the nationally accredited training.)
