An opportunity exists for an experienced Rehabilitation Specialist based in Queensland, to work with our business stakeholders and claims team to ensure effective early intervention and return to work planning for our most important asset, our team members. The ideal fit for this role would be an Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or someone with a similar Allied Health background, looking to transition into a corporate role and provide subject matter expertise

 

About the role.

 

You will proactively drive sustainable return to work outcomes through direct engagement with injured team members, business stakeholders, and treating practitioners. You will provide advice on complex claims and collaborate closely with our claims team to develop tailored strategies that support injured team members in their recovery and safe return to work.

 

About you and your skills.

 

We are looking for a professional with a background in allied health and experience in return-to-work planning, preferably with expertise in workplace-based rehabilitation or workers’ compensation (or a similar environment)

 

You will also bring:

  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • A genuine commitment to supporting injured team members throughout their recovery
  • Experience in taking a strategic approach to achieve positive outcomes on complex claims
  • Tertiary qualifications in allied health or a related field, preferably with experience in workplace-based rehabilitation
  • Knowledge and understanding of rehabilitation principles, injury management processes, medical terminology and how to coordinate with service providers to support recovery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
