About the role
Our Customer Experience and Technology (CXT) team within our eCommerce function is significantly growing as we continue to invest in delivering the best digital shopping experience for our Customers. Our Digital Experience team is now seeking multiple Senior UX Designers to join their growing team. We are interested in speaking with both UI and UX Designers and are open to hearing from candidates Australia wide.

What you’ll be doing

You will create exceptional digital experiences across the Coles Group platforms, delivering compelling and accessible designs for both B2C and B2B customers. You will deliver a customer-led approach to UX design, exploring human problems via journey maps and personas to create wireframes and prototypes through to conducting user testing to validate designs.

 

You’ll also:

  • Align UX design output to the Coles Customer Experience Strategy, Business Strategy, and Digital Strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with Design Researchers, Service Designers, Content Strategists, UI Designers, Solution Architects and Developers to ensure experiences are desirable, feasible and viable. 
  • Protect, maintain, and enhance the Coles user experience across all channels.
  • Maintain knowledge management of user experience outputs generated by human-centered design and act as a central source of UX artefacts for the Coles Group.
  • Contribute to creating a high performing and continuous learning team culture.

 

 

Good things you’ll need

We’re after customer-centric and passionate UX Designers with experience supporting digital channels for customer-led and digital first organisations.

 

You’ll also need:
 

  • Solid experience as a UX/Product designer or similar, with extensive skills in wireframe design, UI creation, prototype development and user testing.
  • Extensive experience designing for websites, apps, and other touchpoints, with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Experience communicating and rationalising design decisions alongside feasibility.
  • Skilled in translating business process and customer behaviours/insights into design concepts.
  • Highly collaborative style, able to engage with a diverse range of stakeholder to meet targets.
