About the role


There are two new 12 month FTC positions for our newly built ADC in Kemps Creek, NSW.  You’ll have the opportunity to truly put your safety stamp on the site and be part of a site go-live for one of the biggest Automation Centres in Australia, for one of Australia’s most trusted brands. The successful applicants will provide timely advice and support to our Operations and Project team to deliver a safe and healthy workplace.   


This isn’t an office-based role –you’ll be tracking your daily steps in no time!   The role includes on floor interactions and conversations with our Automation Partner, contractors and our Operational team to ensure safety is captured in key decisions.   

You’ll be involved with testing of automation equipment, safety system implementation during ramping up a site, and setting base line expectations for team members, contractors and visitors alike. 

The safety team will be coaching and mentoring the operational team regarding Making Safer Choices Together, and supporting the team to make the safe decision every time. 

The best part? You’ll be part of a team, meaning you can focus on safety!  Injury management and the roll out team member training and induction are managed by others, who you’ll work closely alongside.


About you and your skills


•    Experience in implementing safety systems and processes in new sites
•    Strong background working in an operational FMCG distribution Centre, Manufacturing or Automated Environment is highly desirable
•    Proven record of providing technical expertise and coaching all various operational levels
•    Ability to verify implementation of controls and activities based on supplied documentation
•    Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring operational teams in safety topics such as incident response
•    Strong communicator who can positively influence and collaborate for great outcomes
•    Knowledge of relevant H&S Legislation & understanding of Dangerous Goods
