Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. With an extensive footprint of over 1,800 retail outlets nationally, we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations, and we work together with our business units on all thing’s property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

 

About the role

 

 

Join Coles Property as a Property Administration Coordinator – Capital Transactions, where you’ll play a key role in supporting our Capital Transactions team with acquisitions, divestments, internal approvals, property data management and day to day operations of the team. 


This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that shape our store network, working with a highly collaborative property team and key stakeholders across Coles.

What you’ll do

 


  
You’ll provide critical support to the Capital Transactions team, coordinating communications between internal teams, consultants, and ensuring seamless processes and timely outcomes.

 


 
 
You’ll also

 


 
 
•    Assist with research, due diligence, and preparation of board papers and presentations
•    Support the team in completing freehold acquisitions, developing property strategies, and divestments
•    Monitor local council planning activity, rezonings, and development applications
•    Process consultant invoices and authority fees accurately and on time
•    Prepare documentation for Capital Approval Committee submissions
•    Contribute to reporting, progress tracking, and effective stakeholder communication.

 


 
 
About you and your skills 

 

 


Organised and detail-oriented, you bring strong admin and project management skills, with confidence in PowerPoint and Excel, to bring insights to life.

 

You’re adaptable and collaborative, able to work both independently and as part of a team. You manage multiple priorities with ease and build strong relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.

 

You might not come from a traditional property background, but what sets you apart is your passion for property, your willingness to learn, and your ability to stay one step ahead in a fast-paced environment. 


 

We’re open to candidates from store operations backgrounds—especially those who’ve had exposure to maintenance, hold property and construction certificates, or property graduates looking to launch their careers.
