Good things start here

Hi, we’re Coles Group. We’re on a mission to sustainably feed all Australians to help them live healthier, happier lives.

With iconic brands such as Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars to our name, our Liquor team is well on its way to being Australia’s favourite drinks retailer. We serve up everything from premium wines and craft beers, to spirits from local distilleries. We’re also growing every day, so it’s an exciting time to join us.

The Coles Liquor Online Fulfilment Centre is key to the warehousing of stock, fulfilling and delivering online orders to customers. You’ll take pride in contributing to a customer experience that’s welcoming and inspiring for our customers, team members and community through our new online distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity to take your retail and/or warehousing experience to the next level.

As an Online Team Member for our Coles Liquor Online Fulfilment Centre your role will include pick/packing of customer orders, inbound and outbound stock management, ensuring inventory accuracy and loading/unloading trucks.  Delivering best practice order fulfilment, whilst ensuring compliance and continued improvement in the overall customer experience for the Pick Pack area of the Online Shop process is the key focus of the role.

Good things you need

  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace
  • Attention to detail, making sure that our customer orders and picked and packed correctly, ready for delivery
  • The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and will be able to carry out moderate to heavy lifting up to 17kg – picking, packing and replenishing stock
  • The ability to follow instructions, safe work practices and order picking processes
  • Forklift license desirable
  • An accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain

You may be required to undergo a Police Check if successful in the recruitment process, a cost that you’ll be responsible for upfront but will be reimbursed upon successful placement.

While experience in a similar role in stores or warehousing is good, in the end it will be your personality and passion that will set you apart.

Please note that an accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a legal requirement for employment selling liquor in Australia. (In some states this accredited RSA may be State-specific and not the nationally accredited training.)
