At Coles, our Distribution Centres play a key role moving products through our Supply Chain, to provide extraordinary in store shopping experiences for our customers.

 

We’re looking for Logistics Coordinators to join our brand-new Automated Distribution Centre!

 

These are incredible opportunities to be involved in the commissioning our second Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) where we’ll use world-class technology to modernise our Supply Chain. Epic in scale and design, our new facility represents the future of logistics.

 

Located in Kemps Creek New South Wales, our new facility will deliver outstanding service level fulfilment to our stores. Critical to the site’s success, are our people who’ll enable seamless operational delivery.

 

As Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for operational start-up requirements and ongoing tasks across all functions to ensure the smooth running of our Automated Distribution Centre. We have general operations as well as inventory focused positions available.

 

Primary duties include:

  • Administrative and/or inventory support for day-to-day operations.
  • Process control of an area withing ADC to ensure smooth running of operation.
  • Supporting the review, improvement and maintenance of operational activities.
  • Interpreting and distributing data to relevant internal and external teams.
  • Providing service support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing hands on support for area manager and operators working in the area.
  • Ensuring all work carried out adheres to quality, compliance, safety and cost requirements.

About you and your skills

  • Self-motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a large team.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to take ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Familiarity with IT warehouse management systems.
  • Good organisational and time management skills required.
  • Enthusiastic and positive about change.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and willingness to help others.
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing or Automated environment is highly regarded.

Please note these fixed-term opportunities are 6-12 months in duration with the possibility of extension or permanency.
