About the team

 

Our Coles Liquor team work across three leading brands (Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. With a network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.

About the role

 

The eCommerce Marketplace Coordinator will support the Online Trading Manager in the execution of the Coles Liquor Online trade plan across marketplace platforms.

 

You’ll also:

 

  • Be responsible for the enrichment and set up of liquor products including price and promotions for trade across marketplace platforms, set up in back-end systems.

  • Responsible for campaign briefs and creative delivery, to ensure message hierarchy and creative drives customers to engage and convert.

  • Responsible for actively merchandising on site, as well as optimising categories and store layout to drive customer conversion.

  • Work collaboratively with supplier partners to develop & activate plans, as well as reporting post-activation.

  • Be responsible for completing Post Implementation Reviews for promotions and merchandising to understand campaign performance and opportunities for future events.

  • Actively seek website, customer data and insight to drive informed understanding of how our customers use our digital interfaces, and what improvements could be actioned to improve the UX experience.

  • Source relevant customer insights to shape optimisation opportunities, working with analytics, internal insights teams and external suppliers.

  • Liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally to achieve commercial and customer-based outcomes.

  • Be responsible for completing comprehensive competitor analysis to identify market trends, pricing strategies providing actionable insights to inform business strategies.

 

About you and your skills

 

You are experienced in eCommerce or marketplace, with exposure to marketplace businesses, aggregators, and tools. 

 

You’ll also have: 

 

  • Good understanding of Marketing and digital technologies as well as previous experience in a commercially driven team.

  • Experience in planning and managing cross-channel customer experiences and working with content management systems.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Driven to work in an ever-changing disruptive landscape.

  • Online experience management, including business casing, product planning/roadmaps, research, design and optimisation.

  • An understanding of online content strategy, optimisation of conversation rate, and creating a seamless user experience (UX).
