About the role

Our eCommerce Manager is a newly created role responsible for managing and driving the sales of the Coles Liquor brands through online whilst delivering on the significant change agenda.

 

In this role, you are accountable for driving conversion and site engagement across all online platforms and applications. You also drive our online customer experience, building the product development requirements to inform IT work.  

 

What you’ll be doing

On a day to day basis you identify & lead approaches to improve business performance and metrics whilst maintaining consistency across Coles Liquor business practices and strategies. You ensure the sites are optimised for peak trade events and mitigate any foreseen instances which could impact site performance and sales.

 

You’ll also:

  • Innovate and grow Liquor Online share of business through providing a best in class customer experience that focussing on delivering on customer need, and conversion.
  • Provide a single point of accountability for engagement with business stakeholders on their business strategies and translating this into an IT roadmap and deliverables.
  • Drive delivery of change programs, inclusive of technology solutions and landing change and business benefits.  
  • Plan the overall transformation program activities and aligning with business and IT strategies and constraints
  • Own and drive the digital accessibility plan for all digital assets within your portfolio including assets delivered or managed via vendors and contractors.

 

Good things you’ll need

A customer obsessed and commercial eCommerce leader with proven success in delivering market-leading commercial and customer outcomes, exceeding conversions, revenue and profit targets within eCommerce space.  You have demonstrated experience in digital product or channel management, preferably in retail/e-commerce environments

 

You’ll also need

  • Experience developing digital products and/or channels in large, complex organisations requiring extensive stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience sourcing and managing customer experience vendors, including research, design and content.
  • Understanding of working with complex back-end systems and business processes, in regulated industries.
  • To build, lead and coordinate project teams including software vendors and 3rd party integrators.
  • Experience working with, identifying and implementing ecommerce technology solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, communications skills and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Project Management skills and ability to delivering large programs of work and managing budgets.
  • Ability to drive change based on customer insights with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. #LI-BU
