We’re excited to announce a newly created role for an Optimisation Specialist within the Coles Financial Services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across Coles Credit Cards and Insurance Products, ensuring highly relevant and targeted experiences for Coles customers.

What you’ll do

 

 


You’ll be responsible for executing A/B tests and personalised web experiences across different customer touchpoints. Using Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics, you’ll help refine and optimise website interactions, ensuring that Coles customers receive tailored, engaging experiences.

 

 


You’ll also:

 

 

 

•    Drive end-to-end experimentation process on the website, including hypothesis development, test design, success metric selection, test execution and reporting.
•    Use Adobe Analytics to conduct data analysis, identify test opportunities and report on test performance
•    Use Adobe Target to execute A/B tests and personalised experiences to maximise website conversion
•    Collaborate with the CDP team and Analytics team to develop target audience for tests and personalised experiences
•    Work alongside of the content author to ensure seamless execution of the test & learn program and personalisation strategy

 

 

 

About you and your skills 

 

 


To be successful in this role, you’ll bring 3-5 years of experience in website optimisation and audience targeting and at least 2 years of hands-on experience using Adobe Target to execute A/B tests and personalisation strategies. 


You’ll come from a background in large enterprise businesses, or agency, working with cross-functional teams in complex environments.

 

 


You’ll also have:

 

 


• The ability to map out long-term optimisation plans.
• A deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies, with the ability to recommend and implement tests that drive meaningful results.
• Strong project management skills, managing multiple tests and initiatives while effectively prioritising work.
• Excellent communication skills, engaging cross-functional teams and presenting optimisation insights to stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in test execution, audience targeting, and reporting.
• Basic proficiency in HTML , CSS  and JavaScript.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries, desirable not mandatory.
