About the Role
Ready to take the reins on SEO and web content for one of Australia’s biggest brands? In this dynamic role, you’ll lead the charge on organic search strategy and content optimisation to drive traffic, improve conversion, and deliver business growth. You’ll work across teams and agencies to ensure Coles’ website and App is performing at its best — with a sharp focus on data, insights, and customer experience.

What You’ll Do
As the Web Content & SEO Manager, you’ll bring a data-first mindset and a collaborative style to drive results. You’ll partner with agencies, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful initiatives that grow traffic and customer engagement.
You’ll also
• Develop and execute the overarching SEO and content strategy aligned to business goals
• Lead content optimisation to improve organic search rankings and traffic
• Manage relationships with SEO agencies and internal teams to deliver high-impact projects
• Review analytics and insights to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
• Embed SEO best practice across marketing, influencing stakeholders along the way
• Stay ahead of search trends to drive innovation and maintain competitive edge.
About You and Your Skills
You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven SEO and content optimisation. A natural collaborator, you know how to influence, inspire, and drive outcomes across teams. You balance big-picture strategy with hands-on delivery, and you thrive in fast-paced environments.
You’ll also have
• 5+ years’ experience in SEO (in-house preferred) coming from a medium to large organisation
• Strong knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and eComm trends
• Excellent analytical skills, with experience using BI tools to generate insights
• Experience managing agencies, budgets, and mentoring teams
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• A degree in marketing or related field.
