About the role
An exciting position of a Transformation Manager has eventuated within our Supply Chain Store Operations Team.
We are seeking someone who will support the design and implementation of operating models across Online, Fresh, Non-Trade & Services, and Front-End Service by translating design concepts and end-state requirements into operational actions, briefs and playbooks. They will identify operational impacts through store visits, data analysis and SME engagement, and support pilot planning, execution and evaluation to inform refinements and scalable implementation.
Key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
Customer, Proposition & Digital Enablement Support
- Convert customer, proposition and channel insights into practical operational requirements that support design
- Collect and synthesise digital, operational and customer data to identify friction points and improvement opportunities
Continuous Improvement & Simplification Delivery
- Execute improvement activities that reduce operational complexity and strengthen customer and team experience
- Participate in pilots, trials and early‑life support routines, collating insights to refine processes or workflows
Portfolio Governance & Delivery Support
- Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, risks/issues logs and inputs for portfolio governance routines
- Support sequencing, prioritisation and interdependency identification led by the Senior Transformation Manager
Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration
- Build trusted working relationships with Commercial, Customer, Digital, Technology, Supply Chain and Store Operations
- Work with frontline teams to ensure proposed solutions reflect operational practicality and scalable adoption
- Coordinate with external technology, consulting or enablement partners to support delivery activities
About you and your skills
- Experience supporting transformation, improvement or change activity in operations, retail, digital or customer environments
- Experience interpreting data and translating analytics into simple operational insights
- Experience simplifying complexity and drawing together diverse inputs to generate workable improvement recommendations
- Experience participating in pilots, process improvement or initiative delivery
- Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders to solve operational or customer‑related problems
- Exposure to stakeholder influence and negotiation in fast‑paced environments
- Experience interpreting data and translating analytics into simple operational insights
- Exposure to workflow optimisation, simplification or digital enablement programs
- Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams to solve operational problems or support adoption
Commercial Skills
- Strong transformation enablement, change, governance, or program delivery experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop practical tools, processes, content, and governance frameworks
- Experience supporting adoption, implementation, and capability uplift across large operational teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex change
- Highly organised and comfortable coordinating multiple initiatives, dependencies, and delivery milestones
