About The Role:

Coles is modernising its Warehouse Management System (WMS) to build a smarter, faster, and more resilient supply chain. This transformation is critical to delivering better service to millions of Australians and we need a skilled Test Lead to ensure quality is at the heart of everything we deliver.

As the Test Lead – Quality Assurance, you will play a key role in ensuring that robust, reliable, and thoroughly tested solutions are released into production. You’ll lead testing efforts across complex, integrated systems, supporting the IT testing team with overall business integration.

This is a 2-year fixed term contract with possible extension based at our Head Office in Hawthorn East, Vic.

Responsibilities:

  • Translating functional and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases
  • Leading test planning, documentation, and execution across cross-functional systems
  • Managing defect identification, reporting, and resolution
  • Supporting automation and test efficiency initiatives
  • End-to-end testing scenarios and problem solving with multiple stakeholders

 

About you and your skills
You will have:

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead in both Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Strong background in testing on WMS systems
  • Hands-on experience with HP QC/ALM, JIRA, Confluence
  • Familiarity with Manhattan WMS and MATM TMS (highly desirable)
  • The Ability to challenge assumptions and ask the “what ifs” that others might miss
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
