About the role

 

Ready to shape the future of online meals? As our Technology Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind the QuiteLike subscription business, leading the end-to-end technology strategy and delivery. From cloud infrastructure and software engineering to data, analytics, and cyber security, you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly, securely, and at scale. Your work will power customer-centric solutions that could integrate seamlessly with Coles Online platforms and enable growth for one of the most exciting parts of our business.

 

This role reports to the Head of QuiteLike and is based in Melbourne. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders - from product and operations teams to external tech partners - making every day different and full of impact.

 

 

About you and your skills

 

You’re a tech leader who loves turning big ideas into reality. With a strong background in architecture, engineering, and delivery, you know how to build scalable systems and lead high-performing teams. You thrive in fast-paced, agile environments and have a knack for aligning technology with business goals. 

 

 

You’ll also bring:

 

  • 10+ years in technology leadership roles, ideally in eCommerce or subscription-based businesses
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, SaaS solutions, and vendor management
  • Solid experience in cyber security, compliance, and data governance
  • A commercial mindset - you understand budgets, strategy, and how tech drives growth
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A passion for building teams and fostering a culture of innovation
