About the role


The Technical Lead - Insights resolves technical issues and ensures all parts of the technical design are correctly incorporated to provide technical support and technical quality control throughout all stages of the project.


What you'll be doing


Mentor and guide energised teams towards achieving great outcomes and maturing their capabilities and oversee all aspects of project deliverables including architecture and design to ensure quality and strategic alignment.  In addition, gather technical requirement and provide effort estimate and delivery timelines  design, develop and deliver projects with high quality within the agreed timeframes and budgets.  The role will also provide weekly status reports to the management and other stakeholders.


Good things you'll need


  • Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience (desirable)
  • Extensive experience working on the Azure Cloud Platform and setting up and administering Azure Development Environments for projects on Azure Data Platform
  • Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps and Databricks
  • Relevant and proven IT industry experience
  • Proven delivery track record of leading data solutions within both an on-premise and cloud-based environment
  • High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing architectures and software engineering principles
  • Experience in on-prem databases such as Oracle and Cloud databases such as Snowflake.
  • Understanding of business intelligence & analytics applications within corporate environments
  • Fine knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies. 
  • Good understanding of retail domain
  • Previous experience of leading small to medium sized teams.
