About the team

 

Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.

At Coles, we’re transforming the way Australians shop, and technology is at the heart of that journey. We’re looking for a passionate Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and provide hands-on expertise in Mobile technologies across our enterprise.

 

About the role

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Provide hands-on expertise in all areas of Mobile technologies.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to support Mobile technologies in stores, Distribution Centres (DC), Above Store environments, and Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFC).
  • Deliver technical solutions to BAU problems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

About you and your skills

  • Demonstrated technical experience in enterprise environments.
  • Proven technical expertise and understanding of mobile technologies and related trends.
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise-based computing infrastructure in large-scale, complex, and distributed business environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Change Management, Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), and security principles.
  • Broad technical knowledge of mobile computing products used across large organisations.
  • Demonstrated skill set in:
    • iOS, Android & Windows mobile operating systems
    • SOE environments
    • Application packaging
    • Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
  • Experience with Workspace ONE or similar management tools
