Our Coles Liquor team work across three leading brands (Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. With a network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.
About the role
Want to work for the number one alcohol retailer for sustainability in Australia according to the Advantage Group? This is your chance!
You will support our National Quality & Sustainability Manager creating, leading and delivering the Liquor Sustainability strategy and associated projects. You’ll also coordinate the implementation of the broader Coles Group sustainability mandates of work, committees and initiatives with Liquor.
You’ll also:
- Provide technical support on all Coles Liquor sustainability initiatives
- Manage and support the implementation of Exclusive Liquor Brand (ELB) and Private Label sustainability projects and mandates
- Identify areas of growth opportunities, innovation and continuous improvement across sustainability
- Liaise with industry experts, research analytics and external organisations to ensure correct and supported direction for the business
- Review documentation and prepare for QBR, business updates, SLT meetings and board updates
About you and your skills
You will have experience in sustainability in a retail / FMCG environment and a clear passion for and expertise in sustainability, climate, packaging and community related topics.
You’ll also have:
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers and consultants in a corporate environment
- Experience in presenting to senior leadership members on sustainability updates, attaining project approval and requests from the business
- Project management experience of complex programs of work
- Technical understanding of waste and recycling systems and related sustainability impacts in Australia
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes
