About the Role

 

We are seeking a Sustainability Data & Performance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our sustainability reporting and data governance framework. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical subject matter expert who thrives in the data and reporting space and is passionate about driving sustainability performance across a large, complex organisation.

 

You’ll also:

  • Consolidate sustainability data from multiple workstreams into a single source of truth
  • Maintain robust data governance processes, definitions, and quality controls
  • Ensure readiness of sustainability data for external reporting, verification, and assurance
  • Build dashboards, scorecards, and KPI tracking tools to monitor progress against sustainability commitments
  • Analyse data to generate actionable insights for program leads and senior stakeholders
  • Support the development of a sustainability audit framework aligned with evolving regulatory standards
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve data systems and reporting tools
  • Partner with senior managers and cross-functional teams to provide accurate, validated data for disclosures
  • Build trusted relationships across finance, risk, transformation, and data teams

 

 

About you and your skills

 

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented sustainability professional with a strong technical foundation in data and reporting. You thrive in complex environments and have a proven ability to consolidate and analyse data across multiple systems. You bring expertise in sustainability reporting frameworks and a passion for driving performance insights. Your auditing background gives you an edge in governance and assurance, and you’re comfortable building dashboards, managing data integrity, and translating complex metrics into actionable insights. Above all, you’re a collaborative partner who can engage stakeholders across the business and build trusted relationships to deliver meaningful sustainability outcomes.

 

You’ll also ideally have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related field
  • Extensive experience in a sustainability advisory, consultancy, or within a large, complex environment
  • Previous experience in sustainability reporting and data management
  • Auditing background highly beneficial
  • Strong technical expertise in sustainability data and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, TCFD)
  • Advanced data analysis and visualisation skills (dashboards, KPI frameworks, BI tools)
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
