About the role


Our Supply Chain Planning Team works closely with all elements of the supply chain to ensure supply is planned to meet demand within the Coles network. We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner to join this crucial part of our business and plan our vertically integrated meat supply chain.


What you’ll be doing


As an experienced Supply Planner with knowledge of fresh food/meat supply chain, you will manage the planning and execution of supply to the agreed business processes and performance targets.


You’ll also:

  • Manage and control the upstream supply planning process (Primary Processing and Further Processing).
  • Prepare, manage and coordinate supply plans (Upstream) to optimise for availability, freshness and profit.
  • Manage and control the Opportunity Planning Process.
  • Ensure the effective supply, (Planning and Execution), of facilities, (Primary Processing and Further Processing), to deliver optimal availability of freshness and cost to our customers. 
  • Improve and optimise the Meat supply chain processes. 


Good things you’ll need

  • A relevant Tertiary qualification.
  • Extensive supply planning experience within a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Experience working with Fresh food products, experience working with Meat highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make quick, fact-based decisions.
  • The ability to communicate and influence at a senior level.
  • An outcome focused mindset with a passion to continuously.
