About the role

The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.


We’re looking for an exceptional Supply Chain System Optimisation Specialist to join our team.


What you’ll be doing
You’ll collaborate with leaders in category and demand management to maintain, test and implement requests for future development. This will provide you with the opportunity to initiate projects to improve banner and department KPIs.


There’ll also be the added responsibility for maintaining optimal business rules in the system, testing changes and implementing them in the operational environment for all users.


Other ways you can make an impact include:


  • create, maintain and support global views for all system users
  • optimise and configure views and workflows, as necessary
  • distil complicated data and analysis into actionable recommendations, guidance and conclusions
  • quantify and implement updates to complex forecasting and replenishment systems and processes
  • utilise exception-based analysis and forecast accuracy results to drive sales growth, maximise inventory investment and drive business process improvement
  • organise and manage consensus meetings with stakeholders, as well as travel to our retail locations


Good things you’ll need

  • a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred
  • several years’ experience in Merchandising, Pricing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement or Distribution Operations
  • strong knowledge working within a cloud-based system and ERP integration
  • an ability to implement and analyse retail business using consumer insights and trend analysis
  • exceptional root-cause analysis skills combined with confidence presenting ideas and influencing others
  • a level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, as well as experience and expertise working with Tableau and Alteryx
  • a successful track record training new Super Users with the ability to assist with Demand Planners / Forecast Analysts and Buyers
