The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.
We have an opportunity, based at the Hawthorn East SSC, for a team member to join as a Supply Chain Conformance Specialist on a permanent basis. 


About the role

 

As the Supply Chain Conformance Specialist, you’ll be the subject matter expert for Coles inbound supply standards and supplier compliance. This role will allow you to be a change leader, providing support to multiple stakeholders during an exciting automation readiness project.
Other ways you can make an impact include:

 

 

  • Maintaining clear and consistent supplier facing standards
  • Leading internal and external engagement sessions to improve overall supplier performance and compliance 
  • Working with, identifying and leading improvement initiatives with a multitude of suppliers in preparation for automation readiness 
  • The definition, scope and delivery of necessary systemic enhancements 
  • Engaging with external industry bodies for advice, support and best practice alignment across the industry


About you and your skills

 

  • Degree qualified or sufficient experience in relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, having worked in a retail supply chain environment
  • Proven track record of using analytical problem solving and insights
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement of our methodologies and tools to support project delivery
  • Experience of delivering/leading change and working with multiple stakeholders 
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions with limited information
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully with senior management to identify, scope and deliver initiatives aligned to business objectives
