Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. With an extensive footprint of over 1,800 retail outlets nationally, we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations, and we work together with our business units on all thing’s property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

 

About the role

 


This is a 12-month fixed-term full-time opportunity. As our new Spatial Data Analyst, you’ll join a growing Property function at an exciting stage of expansion. You’ll play a key role in enabling smarter commercial decisions by providing spatial insights that support location planning, growth opportunities, and renewals across our portfolio.

 

This is a great opportunity to work closely with the business and see your analysis directly influence outcomes.

What you will do

 

 


You’ll partner with a broad range of stakeholders to translate spatial data into clear, actionable insights that guide decision-making. Working across multiple business areas, you’ll help shape how we use data to plan, forecast, and optimise our store network.

• Partner with teams across Group Strategy, Customer Insights, eCommerce and Sustainability to deliver spatial insights
• Analyse and interpret large spatial datasets to inform business decisions
• Present insights in a clear and compelling way to non-technical audiences
• Contribute to forecasting and location planning methodologies
• Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes and ways of working
• Support ongoing innovation in spatial analytics and data capability. 

 

 

About you and your skills

 

 


You’ll bring 2 plus years’ experience in data analytics, ideally with a strong spatial or location-based focus. You might come from retail, consulting, property, eCommerce, or another commercially driven environment where data informs decision-making.

 

You’re comfortable working with large datasets and using data to tell a story. You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders and can confidently translate technical insights into something meaningful and easy to understand.

 

 

You will also have

 

 


• A degree in GIS, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Geography, Economics, Computer Science or similar
Strong SQL capability and experience working with large datasets
• Experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS or MapInfo
• Exposure to coding languages such as Python or R, and BI tools like Power BI
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and spatial analysis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders.
