About the role
This is a rare opportunity to own and shape how one of Australia’s most recognised brands shows up across social media.
As Social Media Manager, you will lead the strategic direction of Coles Group’s key platforms including Meta, TikTok and YouTube. Acting as the central owner of the channel, you’ll translate business priorities into strong channel strategy while embedding a strong culture of measurement and optimisation.

What you will do
You will guide channel strategy, oversee content and campaign delivery and use performance insights to continually optimise how social contributes to business outcomes.
You will also
• Partner with campaign teams to ensure messaging and creative is built for channel
• Develop channel briefs and frameworks for always-on social communication
• Work with agencies and internal teams to deliver high quality social content
• Analyse performance and translate insights into clear optimisation actions
• Act as a social media subject matter expert across the business.
About you and your skills
You’re a strategic social media marketer who enjoys connecting channel activity to real business outcomes. You bring strong critical thinking, understand how to analyse performance and are confident challenging thinking to drive better results.
You will likely bring around 6+ years marketing experience and be operating at manager level, either within a large organisation or from an agency environment supporting complex clients.
You will also have:
• Proven experience across social platforms including Meta, TikTok and YouTube
• Strong understanding of social measurement and optimisation
• Experience managing social production and channel execution
• Strong stakeholder management within complex environments
• A results-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement.
