About the role

Reporting to the QA Lead, this role will see you conduct and lead testing efforts including, automation for Coles payment platform projects. Our Financial Technology Payments team provides the means for Coles to connect with customers and deliver products they really value.
We have 100,000 team members and see 18 million transactions every week! The team ensures that we meet the needs of customers and take advantage of new technologies.

 

What you’ll be doing

As the Senior Test Analyst, you will manage ongoing testing requirements across Coles’ major payment platforms, and assist in the development and implementation of automation testing and environment tools.

 

You’ll also:

  • Train and coach payments BAU and project resources in testing
  • Lead project testing teams and create test execution and acceptance plans
  • Create test summary reports and report defects in line with management practices

 

Good things you’ll need

We are looking for a dedicated and outcome focused Test Analyst with a strong background in testing and environment automation tools; one who has delivered end-to-end testing solutions in testing critical systems. You will have experience working on enterprise level applications, offering testing solutions across complex payment processing systems and platforms.

 

You’ll also need

  • The ability to manage risk-based testing in critical and highly available environments
  • Have a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of key test and test automation tools
  • Able to lead project test teams and create test execution and acceptance plans
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with some vendor management
  • Previous experience in environment management and test data creation experience
  • A proven ability to deliver in Waterfall, Agile and hybrid environments
