About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Specialist Systems Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the operations of our Splunk ITSI (IT Service Intelligence) platform. This role is essential for ensuring seamless integration, performance optimization, and system stability across our complex infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and evolve our Splunk ecosystem, providing real-time insights and monitoring solutions that drive IT and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary SME, providing operational support for the Splunk ITSI platform.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Splunk SMEs, and application owners to develop event management processes and integrate with other monitoring tools (DataDog, Azure Monitor, ThousandEyes).
• Create, manage, and optimize ITSI services, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor and improve IT performance.
• Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation in line with industry best practices.
• Drive the development of custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations for actionable insights.
• Perform regular maintenance, patching, and performance tuning for optimal platform stability
Qualifications & Experience:
• 10+ years of technical experience in Splunk Cloud and ITSI implementation/support.
• Proven success in delivering enterprise-scale AIOps/TechOps initiatives.
• Expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and integrations with various data sources.
• Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and CI/CD processes.
• Certified in Splunk ITSI and ITIL.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerized solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
