We are looking for a seasoned senior engineer who thrives with collaborating with others to solve interesting customer problems

About you and your skills


As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop quality software that is aligned to engineering standards and practices. You’ll also facilitate peer reviews and testing standards as well as ensure individual and team compliance with company values, policies and procedures and all applicable external laws and regulations. You will also contribute to creating a team culture that elicits a high-performing team and a fun working environment. We’re after a highly skilled front-end engineer with solid experience using React as well as experience working on consumer facing websites.

 

Essential Experience

 

  • 5+ years building large scale websites (consumer preferred)
  • Proficiency in React, Javascript, CSS, Typescript, Redux, REST APIs, and other related web technologies
  • Experience in adopting a continuous delivery mindset, and practical experience with trunk-based development
  • Experience in accessibility, and unit/integration testing frameworks
  • Experience in web performance optimisations
  • Experience in agile development methodologies

 

Desirable Experience

 

  • Exposure/experience to NextJS, Storybook
  • Experience/ exposure with GraphQL
  • Experience in (or willingness to learn) build pipelines
  • Experience in content management systems
  • Willingness to learn/get exposure to other systems and technologies
  • Tertiary qualifications in a technology discipline such as computer science, information computing, etc
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Communication skills to share ideas and take people on the journey
