The Digital team is focused on reinventing and transforming the shopping experience to best suit our customers' needs and making their lives easier. We look ahead to continuously assess how we can apply the latest technologies in innovative ways to constantly improve the shopping experience.  We drive evolutionary architecture, technical innovation and data driven decisions to implement our strategy. What you’ll be doing

Reporting to our Digital Manager for Store Team Platforms, this position will see you leading the delivery of quality technology solutions that make it easy for our store team members to be customer obsessed.


Projects are wide-ranging from instore mobile apps to mobile devices, wearable technology, IoT initiatives, innovation trials and POCs.  Our platform also includes Workforce Management systems for all brands, with multiple associated Employee Agreements and regulatory changes.


As part of this role, you will:

  • Partner with business and finance representatives
  • Develop cohesive plans to land the technology and business changes and transition to ‘Business as Usual’ (BAU)
  • Engage internal and external teams including onshore and offshore vendor teams
  • Implement project governance and communication frameworks fit for the scale and complexity of each project
  • Build, develop and deliver detailed business cases – closely managing the approved scope, budget and schedule



Good things you’ll need

  • Project Manager with proven experience working within larger complex organisations, with a primary focus on application development.
  • experience delivering large scale complex application and integration projects
  • previous success developing business cases, planning and delivering projects involving multiple functional areas and technologies
  • demonstrated experience managing project budgets up to $5m
  • experience managing dispersed / cross-functional teams and external parties
  • formal project management accreditation e.g. Diploma of PM, CPPM/Reg PM, PMP, Prince2 (desirable)
