This is a rare chance to step up as Senior Marketing Manager in our Own Brand team. In this role you’ll shape brand strategy, manage complex stakeholder relationships, lead a passionate and engaged team, and drive the growth of Coles’ Own Brand portfolio.

What you’ll do

 

 


Reporting to the Head of Own Brand Marketing, you’ll:

 

 


•    Lead brand and portfolio management across multiple categories, ensuring compelling customer propositions, commercial success and enhanced efficiencies.
•    Deliver Own Brand growth through strategic brand management, planning and performance tracking across priority brands
•    Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, empowering cross functional teams to achieve success through strong leadership and strategic decision-making.
•    Foster a customer-centric approach, grounded in insights, to guide decision-making across brand development and marketing initiatives.
•    Mentor Marketing Managers, ensuring they thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.

 

 

 

About You and your skills 

 

 


You bring over 8 years of experience in brand strategy and marketing management, with a proven track record managing multiple brands across diverse categories. You are adept at adapting quickly to different situations, demonstrating strong stakeholder management, and leading teams through strategic, data-driven decision-making.

 

 

 

You’ll also have:

 

 


• Strong brand strategy, development and management expertise.
• Financial & analytical proficiency to support growth strategies and performance management
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional senior stakeholders, balancing customer and commercial priorities.
• Exceptional project management, organisational, and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of multi-brand portfolios and FMCG dynamics.
• Ability to pivot and make informed decisions quickly.
