About the role  

 

 
This is a high-visibility six-month secondment opportunity for a Senior Manager to lead a critical automation and process improvement initiative within Brand and Marketing. The role offers strong exposure to Strategy teams and senior leaders, including GM and Chief-level stakeholders across Customer Experience, along with the autonomy to work independently, set your own schedule, and deliver tangible outcomes that will shape future marketing ways of working. 
 
Sitting at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution, you will lead the discovery, planning, and delivery of a new automation and workflow capability to improve consistency, compliance, and efficiency across marketing. Acting as the conduit between an external consultancy, senior leadership, and internal teams, you will ensure the right solution is identified, implemented, and embedded into the business.

What you will do  

 

 
You will operate as the project lead for this initiative, bringing together business, technology, and workflow perspectives to drive progress at pace. This role requires someone who can quickly get up to speed, work autonomously, and confidently manage ambiguity while meeting delivery timelines.

- Assess current-state workflows, identify gaps and risks, and define future-state processes  
- Translate business needs into clear priorities, milestones, and delivery plans  
- Provide regular updates and present insights, risks, and recommendations to GM and Chief-level stakeholders  
- Drive alignment across teams to support consistent, compliant, and efficient ways of working.

 


 
About you and your skills  

 

 

This role will suit a proactive, self-motivated Senior Manager with strong commercial acumen and a well-rounded business mindset. You may be working in a strategy role, a transformation or optimisation role, or as a technical or business-focused BA, provided you bring a holistic view, strong delivery capability and exposure to automation, technology, or AI-enabled tools. 


 
 
You’ll also have: 

 

 
- Strong project or program management experience in complex or change-led environments  
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and at pace  
- Ability to gather & synthesise information into clear insights and recommendations  
- Confidence presenting to and engaging with senior leaders 
- Process-driven, detail-oriented, and focused on quality and delivery outcomes. 

- Strong business, commercial, and workflow understanding, ideally with exposure to automation or technology-enabled initiatives.
