About the role

 

Our Finance team partner with every area of our business and ensure commercial thinking feeds into everything we do. By working across every team, we look at how we’re performing and provide useable insights to support strategic business decisions. With Australian ‘CFO of The Year’ Leah Weckert steering our team, we set up our customers and people for success through good commercial sense.

 

A great opportunity for a Senior Manager - eCommerce Strategy to provide fact-based insight to assist the development and delivery of key business strategies related to digital retail and conduct analytical problem solving on key strategic issues.

 

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business as strategic thought partners and drivers of execution against strategic initiatives
  • Make a positive contribution to the development of Coles’ eCommerce Strategy

 

 

Good things you'll need

 

  • Ideally Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification
  • MBA, CPA or similar business qualification an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
  • 5+ years experience post degree
  • Proven experience in complex analytical problem solving (eg hypothesis based problem solving)
  • Previous experience in managing projects and people
  • Experience writing or contributing to board level presentations and reports
  • Experience presenting to senior business stakeholders
  • Previous experiences working with cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Previous experiences of working in a high-performance team environment #LI-FIN
