About the role
As Senior Manager, Strategy & Delivery, you will lead strategic problem solving, stand‑up delivery frameworks, drive governance, and support execution of enterprise wide initiatives across the Coles. You will partner with senior executives, supporting the delivery of the Group's strategic direction with clarity and measurable value. Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

Identify and assess medium to long-term strategic opportunities, synthesising insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Lead structured analysis to solve complex enterprise problems and support development of executable strategies.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate strategy into clear delivery plans, ensuring alignment on scope, sequencing and resourcing.

Design governance and reporting frameworks that improve transparency, support decision making and drive accountability across the group portfolio.

Establish and embed delivery frameworks focused on value creation, performance metrics and continuous improvement.

Lead transformation initiatives that uplift processes, delivery capability and operational effectiveness across functions.

Support benefits management through clearer forecasting, tracking and realisation of value across key initiatives.

Implement mechanisms to monitor delivery performance, leveraging data and emerging technologies to inform insights.

Build trusted relationships up to C‑suite level, influencing prioritisation, alignment and adoption of improved ways of working.

Coach and uplift teams to strengthen enterprise strategy, delivery and problem‑solving capability.
About you and your skill

Experience in a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (ideally McKinsey, Bain or BCG) or retail/consumer strategy environment

Strong track record leading complex strategic initiatives or transformation programs in large organisations

Ability to influence senior and C‑suite stakeholders through insight, narrative and structured analysis

Experience building or optimising enterprise‑level governance, PMO or portfolio management frameworks

Expertise developing strategic roadmaps that address cross‑functional dependencies

Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, able to structure ambiguity and simplify complexity

Experience delivering large‑scale change with measurable business outcomes

Excellent communication and presentation skills, including preparing executive‑level materials
- Proven leadership capability, with experience uplifting teams and driving delivery excellence
