About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic leader to step into a 12‑month parental leave cover as Senior Strategy Manager. This is a rare opportunity to influence the direction of a major enterprise function, shape customer experience and digital strategy, and lead a high‑performing team delivering initiatives that impact millions of customers.

As Senior Strategy Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and advancing the Customer & Digital strategic agenda. You’ll lead the development of customer experience and digital initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the function is set up to deliver on its long‑term ambitions.
You’ll also oversee analytical problem solving on key enterprise issues, synthesising insights into clear recommendations, business cases, and strategic pathways. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll act as a trusted thought partner who brings structure, clarity, and data‑driven insight to decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Shape Customer & Digital strategy
- Lead the development of customer experience and digital strategic initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities that shape the future direction of the Customer & Digital function.
Drive analytical problem solving
- Oversee structured problem solving on complex strategic issues.
- Synthesise insights into compelling recommendations, business cases, and executive‑ready narratives.
Act as a senior strategic thought partner
- Partner with executives to influence enterprise decision‑making through data‑driven insights.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to align priorities and drive clarity on strategic direction.
Lead and develop a high‑performing team
- Build, coach, and empower a Customer & Digital Strategy and Strategy Delivery team.
- Lift capability, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure high‑quality delivery.
Enable cross‑functional execution
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively.
- Identify risks, coordinate mitigation plans, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable impact.
Key Experience Required
You’re a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a passion for solving complex problems. You bring a structured approach, strong analytical capability, and the ability to influence at senior levels. You’re also an inspiring leader who builds trust, drives clarity, and empowers teams to deliver.
You’ll also bring:
