About the role   

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join our Technology finance team. 

Supporting a high profile business unit you this role will establish our Technology Business Management (TBM) practice, with a dedicated focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to drive strategic decision-making, optimise cost efficiency, and enhance value delivery within our technology organisation.
 
You will also;

  • Oversee the expansion of the Apptio toolset, configuring the platform to capture, analyse, and visualize TCO data effectively.
  • Define and implement TBM processes and workflows ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives
  • Generate insights and recommendations based on TCO analysis, partnering with senior leadership to connect technology cost to business value 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including finance, IT, procurement, and business units, to foster alignment and support for TBM initiatives 
  • Provide training and support to finance and technology teams on the use of the Apptio toolset, empowering users to leverage its capabilities for TCO analysis and optimisation

 

About you and your skills 

As Senior Finance Manager you’ll have extensive experience in finance, with a focus on technology finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or TBM. 

 

You’ll also have: 

  • Strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and methodologies, with proven experience leading TCO analysis initiatives.
  •  Experience with the implementation and utilisation of the Apptio toolset or similar TBM software solutions.
  •  Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  •  Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
