About the role
At Coles, we’re constantly innovating to deliver better digital experiences for our customers. Join our Data & BI team, the central hub for all Digital data reporting and analytics, and play a key role in powering our insights-driven culture.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll operate at the heart of our Digital function—bridging the gap between Tech and Digital. With access to enterprise-grade data from our EDP (Enterprise Data Platform), you’ll help bring data to life, delivering trusted and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across eCommerce and beyond.

Key Responsibilities    
•    Extracting, transforming and analysing data from various sources using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake
•    Delivering actionable insights and supporting decision-making across eCommerce and Digital
•    Leading the evolution of self-service reporting capabilities for digital teams
•    Maintaining data taxonomy for key metrics and dimensions aligned to functional and business needs
•    Designing and implementing process improvements to drive automation, scalability and reliability
•    Supporting data-as-a-service models to enable business activity, experimentation and continuous improvement

About You
•    Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI and Snowflake
•    Solid understanding of enterprise data warehousing principles
•    Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering commercial value
•    Passion for clean, accessible, and reliable data that drives better decisions

Nice to have
•    Exposure to DataBricks, AWS or Azure
•    Experience in a high-growth digital or eCommerce environment
