About the role

By combining the fast-paced culture of retail with the ever-growing world of ecommerce, Coles Online takes the time and effort out of grocery shopping. With services such as Home Delivery, Click & Collect and smart lockers, we’re always working on new ways to make life a little easier for our customers – no matter where they are.


Our eCommerce function is currently going through an exciting period of transformation and growth and as part of that growth we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in mobile apps to join the team. You will be working in the fun and fast paced CXT team at Coles, the Senior Business Analyst will be instrumental in the ongoing improvement and delivery of the Coles Supermarkets mobile apps platforms. What you’ll be doing


You will use your logical approach to problem solving and the ability to constructively propose and review solutions and proven experience gathering, eliciting, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements in a way that is complete, clear, correct, and consistent.


You’ll have


  • Experience working in Mobile applications development teams(mandatory).
  • Strong experience supporting digital channels in large, complex organisations requiring stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in a project environment
  • Strong experience using Agile methods and concepts.
  • Ability to analyse and explain complex digital systems and concepts in accessible language, such as translating the technical capability of a solution into the real-world application and results of that solution.  Communicate these concepts to a range of stakeholders at the appropriate level of detail.  



You’ll also have    


  • Experience working in Mobile applications development team .
  • Demonstrates a deep passion and knowledge of Mobile Applications including knowledge of Apple HIG and Google Material Design principles.
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Understanding of: digital ecosystem, software development lifecycle, development methodologies (including Agile), enterprise architecture principles, web usability and accessibility, online content, and user experience (UX) design.
