About the role


Our Finance team partner with every area of our business and ensure commercial thinking feeds into everything we do. By working across every team, we look at how we’re performing and provide useable insights to support strategic business decisions. With Australian former ‘CFO of The Year’ Leah Weckert steering our team, we set up our customers and people for success through good commercial sense.


What you'll be doing


This is a highly visible team that helps drive business decision making and is uniquely positioned to understand what is happening in all parts of the business. You will play a key role in facilitating and delivering the business planning cycle and support business wide planning processes including budget and multi-year strategic planning. You will ensure the delivery of Board and Executive Leadership team requirements and decision-making information, in particular providing accurate insights and drive Coles Group planning processes which requires liaising with the wider finance and strategy teams on deliverables and timeframes.

We’re after a highly skilled professional with considerable experience.


You’ll also need:

  • a CA/CPA qualification with proven experieince
  • strong stakeholder management skills including influencing and negotiating
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), ability to present simplified complex data and concepts to enable decision making
  • strong time management and planning skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a high- pressure environment
  • strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • proficiency with systems including TM1 and SAP preferable
