About the role


This is a highly visible team that helps drive business decision. You will play a key role in facilitating and delivering the Operations planning cycle.

With your FPA experience in a retail/FMCG environment, you’ll be responsible for co-ordinating Operations strategic plan, Budget & Forecast processes, build strong relationships with respective commercial finance teams and play a key role in ongoing monthly forecasts for Operations.



What you’ll be doing


  • Ensure that ‘the story’ behind the financials is clearly articulated to the finance and Operations leadership teams
  • Understand stakeholders’ position, build excellent relationships, and engage key stakeholders to ensure future financials and understood and owned
  • Identify continuous process improvement opportunities in Operations
  • Coaching more junior team members to ensure they are consistently improving performance



Good things you’ll need


  • FPA experience in retail environment, ideally within Operations
  • Understand standard financial KPIs across the P&L, balance sheet & cash flow
  • Strong excel & PowerPoint skills, proficiency with TM1 and SAP preferable
  • Ability to establish cross-functional relationships across the business
  • Ability to understand data and simplify down into a simple message
  • Proven ability to ‘tell the story’ behind the financials to senior leadership
  • Ability to identify process improvement and provide insight to senior management. Support more junior team members to deliver continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of team to drive change #LI-FIN
