As the Senior Business Analyst - Group Planning, you'll be a part of a highly visible team that helps drive business decision making and is uniquely positioned to understand what is happening in all parts of the business. You will play a key role in facilitating and delivering the business planning cycle.

 

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Support business wide planning processes including budget and multi-year strategic planning. Ensure delivery of Board and Executive Leadership team requirements and decision making info, in particular providing accurate insights delivered on time.
  • Drive Coles Group planning processes liaising with wider finance team and strategy on deliverables & timelines.
  • Work as a team player, influencing, coaching and engaging across the business and within the team to drive continuous improvements across planning systems and processes and enhance system usage

 

 

Good things you'll need

 

  • CA/CPA qualified with minimum 3+ years PQE
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including influencing & negotiating
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication & presentation skills (verbal and written), ability to present simplified complex data & concepts to enable decision making
  • Strong time management and planning skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency with systems including TM1 and SAP preferable
  • Varied finance background preferable, covering financial control, FP&A, commercial decision support
  • Finance experience in a retail or FMCG environment desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of standard financial KPIs across the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to establish relationships and cross-functional partnerships across the business
  • Experience in a financial planning environment #LI-FIN
