About the role


This role is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract and plays a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic finance projects.


Key responsibilities will include problem statement generation / business analysis, process mapping and redesign, systems implementation, requirements gathering, reporting development, testing, training, and preparing material for stakeholders / management reviews.



What you'll be doing


  • Assist in the delivery of transformational digital and strategic projects and initiatives for the CFO Function, in particular a redesign of Finance wide Chart of Accounts
  • Work with the business to identify, define and document detailed problem statements, requirements, and target state for the new Chart of Accounts
  • Functional Project and Change Management activities supporting the projects



Good things you'll need



  • Tertiary accounting qualifications
  • Post tertiary qualifications (e.g. CA or CPA)
  • Significant knowledge of core finance systems, particularly finance ERP (e.g. S/4 Hana) and EPM (e.g. TM1)
  • Experience delivering or providing SME support to key strategic projects or initiatives
  • Previous experience with designing and implementation of new Chart of Accounts in a large organisation
  • Process Optimisation experienced preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in finance processes, including process mapping and systems implementation #LI-FIN
