About the role;

 

Our cutting-edge Supply Chain Technology team delivers world-class supply chain technology across the entire Coles group, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

Within this role you will manage and lead the code delivery of various projects across our Coles Supply Chain Platform Division. As part of an ever growing business, we are embarking on offering superior service to our customers through exciting new technology and project solutions. Thereby, ensuring an evolving and satisfying retail experience to our customers.

 

With ongoing changes and trends across the technological world, Coles embarks on new and exciting projects across the business involving, cloud-based technology and automation; enabling us to move into a new era of retail and supply chain technology solutions.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

As part of the Supply Chain Technology team you will manage various modern and revolutionising digital transformation projects. In applying your programming expertise and modern cloud-based solutions you will design scalable code across a multitude of platforms, applications and services.

As the Senior Analyst Programmer, you will be a vital link to the Development Manager and development team. You will have expert knowledge across Supply Chain Technology and generate exciting new designs for current and future applications, while meeting company standards. You will be an advocate for change, excelling in our rapid and ever-changing environment, and have the ability to manage a diverse range of projects at any given time.

 

You’ll also:

 

  • Perform application technical tasks for Supply Chain Systems development.
  • Contribute to the overall design and architecture of a broad range of solutions.
  • Offer ongoing advice and expertise to the advancement of various engineering practices across the Supply Chain Technology Team.
  • Be a key advocate on development, offering mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Work and engage with cross functional technology teams offering expert advice on current and future applications and systems.

 

Good things you’ll need

 

To enable new trends and designs you will offer your exceptional programming solutions to modernise our Supply Chain platform and services. We are seeking talented Senior Analyst Programmers with extensive experience in delivering large-scaled enterprise level projects. You will be an expert on working across Linux, PowerShell and offering end-to-end designs across MS SQL data base and with experience across Supply Chain Platforms and products.

 

You’ll also need;

 

  • Extensive experience across MS SQL and T-SQL including Linux and PowerShell scripting
  • Knowledge of building solutions in Azure Cloud including but not limited to; WebApps, Serverless Functions, Logic Apps and Azure DevOps
  • Experience coding in python
  • Experience with requirement gathering and offering solutions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Expert Knowledge of Supply Chain systems, products, processes and related tools.
  • Strong written and communication skills and excellent customer interfacing skills.
