About the role
This role is all about making sure our digital strategy aligns with our organization's goals and delivering real value whilst staying compliant with regulations. You'll play a key role in translating strategic goals into actionable plans, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to execute on them and track measurable results.
In this role you’ll support a number of exciting initiatives across Coles Digital, working to:
- Support the team to design and deliver Coles’ Digital strategy and omnichannel ambitions
- Provide fact-based insights to assist the development and delivery of key business strategies
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business as a strategic thought partners and to drive the execution of our strategic initiatives
- Support with portfolio management for Digital function, including quarterly prioritisation, product retrospectives and product performance reporting
Some of your day-to-day accountabilities might be:
- Conduct high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve complex, strategic problems across the business
- Synthesise analysis to draw conclusions and provide recommendations to the business to enable execution against strategic initiatives
- Provide key stakeholders with the 'so what' insights to enable effective decisions for the business
- Support the development and execution of project plans to deliver against the strategic priorities of the business
- Take responsibility for the overall success of the business and the successful execution of project plans in the dedicated area of support
- Help identify key risks to in-scope projects and support development of mitigation plans
- Understand business contexts and key stakeholders as key inputs to the

- Independently structures and writes clear and succinct written communications to draw key insights
- Confidently delivers presentations in formal settings

About you and your skills
- 2+ years experience post degree, ideally within a consulting or faced paced strategic delivery environment
- Proven experience in complex analytical problem solving (eg hypothesis based problem solving)
- Experience writing or contributing to board level presentations and reports
- Experience building financial models, comfortable with numbers
- Previous experiences working with cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Previous experiences of working in a high-performance team environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills to both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Ideally Bachelor of Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
