About the role


The Digital Security team is accountable for information security strategy and the day-to-day management of information security within Coles. This includes maintaining and ensuring compliance to the information security policies and standards, threat management, vulnerability management, log monitoring and alerting, CI/CD pipeline security oversight, enterprise and cloud security architecture, data leakage protection (DLP), penetration testing etc.


What you’ll be doing


This role will have you providing a single point of reference for all security decisions and recommendations in relation to the workplace security domains across the Coles business. Your major focus will encapsulate Coles’ entire Microsoft Suite including, end user applications, Microsoft Exchange, Office365, SharePoint online (and on prem), Azure AD and Azure.


You’ll also:

  • Mentor and provide guidance to security consultants across the business.
  • You will be a contributor to governance activities such as, the Security Architecture Review Group (SARG), and provide broader governance over other initiatives and activities to ensure ideal security outcomes.
  • Be the central point of contact for security related issues and will engage with other members of digital security to ensure appropriate engagement and guidance is provided.
  • Be accountable for individual compliance with company values, policies, and procedures.


Good things you’ll need


We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Security Principal Architect to manage security critical projects and systems. You will lead the end-to-end project delivery focusing on architectural solutions across various Microsoft services and solutions.


You will be a seasoned security expert, one who drives change and delivers high-level solutions within an enterprise scale setting. You will have worked within a similar role in the past and are able to draw on personal experiences when comprehending current and future technology trends, and are capable of supporting critical system issues.


You’ll also need

  • Demonstrated experience on influencing senior stakeholders across both technology and business domains.
  • Experience in participating and contributing to formal architectural governance.
  • Broad security experience across the following domains:
  • Workplace (Windows, end user devices, active directory etc).
  • Office365 (Configuration, Teams, SharePoint, DLP, licensing, hybrid exchange etc).
  • Azure (IaaS, PaaS, CI/CD etc).
  • Azure AD (Azure privileges, conditional access policies, Azure AD settings, hybrid domain etc).
