Our Group Cyber team is crucial and accountable for all aspects of Cyber Security across Coles including Strategy & Architecture, Identity, Cyber Governance, Cyber Detection & Response, Data Protection and Security Services.

 

 

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Identity, this position plays a pivotal and active role working with project managers and initiative leads to steer the delivery of identity components relating to complex initiatives within Coles.

 

We are seeking a proficient Portfolio Manager with Identity and Access management expertise for this exciting Security Principal role. The ideal candidate will utilize their experience to implement agile processes, enhancing delivery predictability, engagement, and security outcomes. Building strong relationships and delivering key capabilities are key aspects of this role.

 

You will also be responsible for:

  • Identify opportunities to improve security processes to address business issues.
  • Guide project managers and initiative leads to ensure that security standards and processes are followed, and solutions are compliant.
  • Secure the co-operation of key resources. Manage relationships within and outside the business, including suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Work with partners to understand their constraints and incentives, and ensure collaborations are mutually beneficial.
  • Play a key role in the development of an agile delivery community and inclusive culture across Coles.
  • Balancing execution efficiency with risk mitigation.  Making good decisions in complex situations and understanding when escalation and syndication is needed.
  • Establish ways of working that support continuous learning and process.

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years experience with delivering initiatives via Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid methodologies.
  • Successfully managed complex portfolios ie. many projects that involve multiple functional areas, teams (including vendors), technologies and critical systems.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven record with prioritisation and expectation management.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders across both technology and business domains.
  • Experience ensuring major infrastructure and application project/initiatives are aligned with key identity and security principles, standards and patterns preferred.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management technology and solutions such as Azure AD, CyberArk, Microfocus, SailPoint preferred.
